Anita is currently in her 12th season as concertmaster of the Folsom Lake Symphony Orchestra. She has served as concertmaster of the Sacramento Gold Country Chamber Orchestra, assistant concertmaster of the Stockton Symphony and is a former member of the Omaha Symphony and Omaha String Quartet. Anita is currently in the first violin section of the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra and also performs regularly with the orchestras of the Sacramento Opera, Sacramento Choral Society, and the Sacramento Ballet.

Highlights of Anita’s solo and violin/piano recitals under the name of Duo Concertante include a 2001 CD of violin and piano sonatas with her father, Wolfgang Fetsch, featuring the works of Beethoven, Schubert and Franck. In 2001 Duo Concertante was recorded live for television in Rossmoor, CA and was hailed as “a talent of a high order, one of Rossmoor’s best offerings in a long time” by the Rossmoor News. Performing to a capacity filled Hutchins Square in Lodi, a solo appearance in the Mondavi Center in Davis with the Gold Country Chamber Orchestra, a 2006 solo engagement with the Camellia Symphony at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, and concerto appearances with the Auburn and Folsom Symphonies are among the memorable performances of Anita’s career. In 2016, Anita was hired as adjunct assistant professor of violin at American River College.
