Christine Zdunkiewicz is the musical director of Chamber Players in Davis. She began playing cello at the age of nine in the local school summer music program in Martinsville, Indiana. She continued her studies through her college years and has performed in numerous symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles for many years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and an Associate’s Degree in Music. Locally she has performed with the North State Symphony, Symphony of Northern California, Folsom Symphony, Camellia Symphony Orchestra (principal cellist), the Valley Choral Society, and the U.C. Davis Symphony Orchestra. She has performed numerous times for the Music at Noon Concert series at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sacramento. She was principal cellist of the San Francisco Community Music Center Orchestra (the “Kapp Street Orchestra”) and has performed with the San Francisco Sinfonietta, both under the direction of Maestro Urs Steiner.
